Live Mail – Remove message error

I am using Windows Live Mail with Windows XP. In general it works fine, however, I have a message in the inbox that I can not delete. When I try to do anything with it, I get the following error: There was an error opening this message, An error has occurred. It will not let me delete it, open it or anything thing. What do I do?

Sounds like a message that got corrupted while downloading, or didn’t download properly and
the client is trying to rectify it.

1 close and restart the client and try to delete message or allow client to re-download message.
2 If email is web based; sign on at website email and delete message there.
3 Locate your default email directory: Tools>>Options>>Advanced>>Maintenance>>Store Folder.
Locate inbox folder and delete message from there. (move all other messages out prior to this)
4 Repeat #3 in safe mode.
