Would anyone happen to know if it’s possible to list all files on a disk, independent of folders, sorted (like XTree did, for those old enough to remember)? If so, using what software (apart from XTree)?
    Thank you.

hello I am probably stating the obvious but are you wanting something other than Windows Explorer? This lists all files and folders (including hidden files and folders if you have these selected to show).

Sorry, I obviously didn’t explain it clearly enough. Windows Explorer shows all files within their respective folders. What I would ideally like is an “add-on” to Windows Explorer that would enable it to show all of the files on a drive without their folders (like Show All in Xtree).

aaaaaah, I get it, if anyone knows this forum will. Perhaps if you find responses slow here, just post up what you want in the Software Finds & Wants forum, that might grab attention more quickly, coz you are after an add on program. Good luck. smile

PowerDesk will do it for you. And more!
