A user showed me a document where each and every of the 4 pages were lined (ruled? lineated?) horizontally from the top border to the bottom border. Like in a school notebook. And each time she clicked the New doc button, a blank, but lined doc was created. Anyone knows what (setting) caused this? Can it be turned on / off at will? I could not find anything related under Format, nor Options.
I could help her get rid of it by replacing her Normal.dot with a fresh one, but I’m still curious.
The odd thing is, that when I copied her original Normal.dot to my PC, the lining didn’t show… confused

      Could it be horizontal gridlines:
      – Activate the Drawing toolbar.
      – Click Draw | Grid…
      – Clear the Display gridlines on screen check box.

        Hans,
I think you hit the nail on the head. Again… thankyou

And she must have clicked on the Default… button too, as every new doc showed these lines.
But like most users do in these circumstances, of course she denied to have made these changes. Yeah, right…
