I first posted this in ‘Publisher 2000` because I though it was the problem. However….
Whenever I print a long file 5 or more pages, somewhere on one of the pages will be a blank 1/8 line that runs from left to right. It will never be at the same place. If I reprint the one page, fine.
I am using a Brother laser 1240, but then switched over to a Brother 1440. Same problem.
This will happen in Pub. or Word 2000. any Ideas?? Could this be a windows problem? hairout

I think it’s more likely a print driver problem. Is there any way you can take a file that exhibits this behavior and test it with a different brand of printer altogether?

Standard troubleshooting for something like this would also say, “do you have the most current printer drivers from the manufacturer?”

You can also look on Brother’s website and check through their support documentation – I breezed through some of it but did not see anything pertaining to this particular issue.
