Limitation in rules – Outlook 2010

I’ve setup rules to copy other emails when my email address or the distribution list that I am a part of is not in the “sent to” line. The problem is, I want this also to read off of the cc line and there’s no selection in the rule wizard to do so. For other rules, I can select “where my name is in the to or cc box” but when building a ruled based on emails that i send, the only selection is “except if sent to.” It does not include an option to read if I’ve cc’d someone. Does anyone know if there is a workaround to get it to read the cc line? TIA!

Although it uses the phrase “except if sent to” it seems to consider both To and Cc, at least based on a little test. Is it not working for you?
