GuestDecember 28, 2019 at 10:49 am #2037190The CAPTCHA is run by Google, but Google is on many tracking protection blacklists. So, disable any tracking protection you might have running within Pale Moon, dump your browser’s cache and cookies and reload the page. That should allow the CAPTCHA to display.
The easy way within Firefox (which I believe Pale Moon comes from) is to simply click the little “shield” symbol in the address bar and click the resulting slider to turn off tracking protection for the site you’re on, after which Firefox will automatically reload the page. That’s what I do to get the CAPTCHA to display so I can post replies here.

Were you logged in at the time… reCaptcha on AskWoody is only triggered by site guests, not by the browser 🙂

AskWoody PlusDecember 28, 2019 at 6:33 pm #2037275Well it worked in safe mode, maybe a cross site thing that NoScript did not like or some random effect of another extension. The Catchpa WAS NOT the problem. Annoying and likely a couple of hours to narrow it down to one. But I am an honest man for another year 😄
