Laserjet4 and Win 10

Has anyone been able to get a Laserjet 4 to run on Win 10?  I’d like to do this to be able to print on heavy card stock.

What are the options?

1. add a parallel port card to the pc
2. parallel to USB
3. drivers?
4. Give up and run the LJ4 from Win 7.

All thoughts appreciated

Have you tried to run the Laserjet 4 software in Win7 Compatibility Mode? (or maybe XP mode?)

Maybe 10 years ago already, I decided to put my trusty LJ4 on my home network with an HP Jet Direct network card I found on ebay.  It had been parallel port attached to my old Win XP box I still keep running.  Installation of the Jet Direct was easy and a couple of menu screen items had to be set.  Windows 7 automatically installed the correct HP drivers for it as did Win 10 when I did a clean install 18 months ago.
