ManagerApril 21, 2019 at 11:10 am #682705Just got this from Victore:
Subject: Update to Win 10 ver 1809 changed colors of Office toolbars A few days ago I updated to Windows 10 version 1809 after reading Fred Langa’s piece in the April 15, 2019 AskWoody Plus Newsletter. I followed the “official, Microsoft-sanctioned method” Fred described in the newsletter column and downloaded and ran the update file (Windows10Upgrade9252.exe) from Microsoft’s web site. So far I have noticed no serious problems since updating to version 1809. However, that update made one change that is driving me nuts. Since that update all my Microsoft Office 2003 program toolbar colors changed to a bright light blue color that hurts my eyes. All my Microsoft Office program toolbar colors have been a neutral mid-tone gray since I installed Office when I bought this computer in December 2016, now they’re all this bright, garish, eye hurting blue. I don’t want to play with the color or brightness display settings on my monitor. I had the monitor calibrated when I started doing serious photo editing. Everything had been working well after I had my monitor calibrated until I installed this Windows version 1809 Update Does anyone know of a way to change the color schemes in Microsoft Office 2003 to something more neutral and less bright than that garish bright blue toolbar I now have in Office 2003 programs. I would appreciate any help you can provide.
