Sorry if this is a repeat question, but I tried searching and couldn’t find the answer.
My computer insists on losing its Internet Explorer LAN settings every time I log off and/or reboot.
The settings remain but no selection box remains checked. While it’s not a big deal to check “automatic configuration script” or “proxy server” on login, it gets annoying. We have the means to use either type of setting and routinely configuration both options; then select which one seems to be working better on a particular day.
Since I’m pretty sure this isn’t an XP “feature” I must be doing something wrong on the XP box since W2K boxes set up the same way in the same domain on the same network don’t exhibit this behavior (or “behaviour” for the rest of the world).
Any ideas would be appreciated. … Thanks
