I’ve tried renaming and deleting but cannot seem to get rid of the phrase “My Documents” as I like to use “office Documents” – Is there a way to kill “My Documents” ??

“my documents” is a system virtual file, you can’t kill it or rename it, only hide it. You can make it point to a folder called “Office docs” on another drive.

I think using the TweakUI tools you can move it and rename it. But I found that it is a waste of time, a lot programs (when installed) will go looking for it and will make a new one if it can not find it. When you get to the Windows 2000 and better world, then you will have more power over it (my Documents) and then will be able to have it on a network drive for each different loggin (user).
