    Hello everyone,

Only in Outlook 2003, I’ve lost all the keyboard shortcut reminders on my menus. I’ve been teaching courses to our staff on what’s new and changed in Outlook 2003 from Outlook 2000! I must have selected a choice somewhere and didn’t realize I had done it!?

Can anyone help me and explain how I can restore those handy reminders on my Outlook 2003 menus? I’ve been to Tools | Customize, and all through the tabs at Tools | Options!

All the keyboard shortcuts work, but are simply not showing on any menu. They are showing correctly in Word 2003, Excel 2003, and PowerPoint 2003.

    Help, help, help!

    Thanks so much,
    Rich

Strange – I don’t think you’re supposed to be able to turn this on or off.
Does it help if you reset the menu bar?
      – Select Tools | Customize…
      – Activate the Toolbars tab.
      – Select Menu Bar.
      – Click Reset… and confirm.
      – Close the Customize dialog.

        Dear Hans,

Yes, that finally worked! I thought I had done exactly that, but perhaps not! I did have to exit Outlook 2003, then relaunch it to see the shortcuts in the menus.

These ‘puters, THEY always do what we tell them, and not what we want them to do! compute

I do wonder question, however, how I managed to turn them off, or did Outlook 2003 get a little sick?

Best regards, and thanks so much, smile
