    Greetings!,

What is the keyboard sequence to invoke the new clipboard in Office 2000? I can always click on the toolbar and turn on the new clipboard during my ‘session’. I know there is one because I invoked it accidentally (alt something). Thanks and have a great weekend!!!

      Ian,

Thank you so very much! I will try it when I get home after work!

That’s neat. I’ve always just repeated a copy to bring it up.

Better, though, to get one of the clipboard extenders like Smartboard 2000. You’ll never go back to the clipboard.

Phil. When I tried Smartboard I thought it was wonderful, but I soon ran into problems when I tried to copy some not very big worksheets in XL, Smartboard could not copy the whole selection. Have you had similar trouble?

            Hi Michael:

Well, I’ll be. I just tried it & your right. I rarely use Excel (primarily use Word), so I never had that problem with text before. I do know that you can change the default of 256K to 999,999, which helps somewhat. But even after changing, I got a message that the “picture was too large & would be truncated” (although it still pasted the whole spreadsheet). Something for me to keep in mind. I may try out some of the other clipboard extenders, although I rarely copy large spreadsheets.

            Thanks for the info.

On the subject of clipboard extenders…I use ClipCache and get the same error message in Excel 2000, however it has always copied & pasted the entire selection for me despite the error messages.
