      Awesome articles Sue!  Thank you.  I have experienced the pain of gadgets being obsoleted too soon.  As you state that is something we just have to deal with.  A note on the video doorbells especially in older homes. Replacing the doorbell transformer can fix a lot of issues. It worked for me on a Nest battery doorbell that couldn’t charge enough to stay on or ring the charm. It is a second doorbell for my other door. The other is a Nest gen 1 hardwired doorbell. A newer lower voltage transformer handles both easily.
