Since iPhone 4 and the first iPad Mini 7″ (currently iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPad 10.5″ cellular) I have never had a crash on both.
I install OS and updates the moment they are out. I run beta versions (previously Dev versions) for the last 4 years.

Thanks, Susan. I hope that someone is found who can take on this additional burden of answering questions on issues with Macs and other Apple devices. Nathan used to do this quite well, perhaps someone as enthusiastic and dedicated can be found and brought here to do that. In the meantime, any help you can provide shall be truly appreciated.

Susan, you have described my situation to a T.  I have/support secondary Apple devices (iPhones, iPads, iPod Touches), and I anticipate getting an M2 Apple notebook in the near future.  Having this Apple-oriented information gathered in a place I trust is greatly appreciated.  Thank you for being so perceptive and filling this niche.

Yes thank you!  I too am an Apple device user (IPAD, Iphone) and am responsible for the tech support in my house (me + my hubby) + a few friends/family come to me for tech support…..nothing like what you do Susan!! ; )

I plan to stop using my 5-year old Windows laptop in the near future – I do not want to replace it with a new Windows machine.   I purchased an ipad, hoping it could replace my laptop, but I think I need a Macbook…..still researching it……

Anyway Apple info is very welcome!
