KB5027303 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems was installed on my daily driver last night.
O&O ShutUp 10 shows no telemetry changes were made. There is no Microsoft user account on this machine (OneDrive is signed on at startup using a Microsoft account) so none of the Microsoft account-related “New” stuff is applicable.
I use StartAllBack, so none of the “New” menu stuff is applicable. I had already turned off the Prnt Screen key hijack for the Snipping Tool, so that isn’t applicable. I’ve severely limited what File Explorer can and can’t do in the registry, so no changes there, either.
No hiccups or issues. Now running Windows 11 Pro Version 22H2 (OS Build 22621.1928).
Always create a fresh drive image before making system changes/Windows updates; you may need to start over!
We all have our own reasons for doing the things that we do with our systems; we don't need anyone's approval, and we don't all have to do the same things. We were all once "Average Users".
