    Came across reference to this update on another forum and a Google produced – https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3213522

    This would appear to be a Hotfix for anyone with the problem described in the article.

    I suppose it will be included in the next auto Cumulative update.

      To save everyone checking, it’s for the latest Stable AU, details quoted below.

      Summary
      This update fixes an issue that was introduced in the December 13, 2016 release (KB3206632) in which the Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) installation takes more time than expected, and the installation may fail on the initial attempt.

      Windows 10 updates are cumulative. Therefore, this package contains all previously released fixes.

      EDIT: like the 8 day old KB it replaces, it’s almost 950MB for x64 and over 500MB for x86 W10 versions.
