I don’t know if it’s a “one size fits all” solution but while researching the best way to upgrade WLM to 2012 I ran across numerous posts going back quite a while related to calendar syncing problems in WLM 2012 after an update.

It was suggested to log into your account THROUGH A BROWSER which would (apparently) complete the calendar sync and after that it functioned as expected in WLM.

As I stated… I don’t know if this will work in this particular instance as I don’t use either function myself, but it might be worth a shot to try it. If it’s not working now I can’t see how it could break it any worse.

I see on Windows Update today (13 Jan) that there’s a KB3093594 available — published 8 January, 2016. Seen that? Tried it out?

I haven’t seen it. The KB article hasn’t been changed, and it isn’t in the master Windows Update list, so I don’t know if this is a new version.

      Has anybody else tried it?

I was just doing my usual “patch Tuesday” updates, checking everything to see whether there were any known serpents in the woodpile, and I spotted 3093594 in the Optional list, so I right-clicked it and read the panel: published 8Jan16. “Hmmm,” says I. “Hast thou got thine act together finally, Microsoft?” I just wondered.

      Interesting! Microsoft doesn’t list a January 8 version. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3093594

      Have you tried installing it?

UPDATE: I see they’re asking the same questions on Wildersecurity

Haven’t tried it. Thought I’d let the eager beavers give it a run and report. My experience with trying the first version and then the second left me with a severe case of intelligent inertia.
