I have an old security update that I am looking in to (I missed this one). KB3088195 which according to the patch watch list say it was first on hold (kernel update) and then later was released. I got to searching around the Internet and found some sites stating that this is a “keylogger at the kernel level”. Does anyone know if that is true or just overblown? I think the site I first encountered this “keylogger” description was called destroy windows spying. The program they offer flags this 3088195 as to auto-uninstall it when you run their program. The other one was (I believe) called notebook review (or something like that) and there they have this one listed as well (see attached when I first saw it). I found some other sites as well talking about this update, but then I wanted to ask in here before proceeding.
My systems are all Windows 7 Pro 64-bit, just wondering if anyone has heard of this and if this is just overblown.
Thanks
