This is from the article quoted which links here:

“My advice is the same as it has been for a while now. If you have the means to manage updates, then do not approve them for 2 months (I used to say 1 month, but System Center Service Manager decided to cause havoc a little while ago). Let someone else be the tester that gets burned and fired.”

      Sounds amazingly familiar!

    • #40146

Especially when dealing with a server!

I don’t believe that I received that update. I can’t find it, but I use Windows 8.1 Home. Is it for Pro versions?

    • #40148

If it is related to Hyper-V, it is likely to be for Pro and Enterprise and server operating systems.

    • #40149

      Yes, Pro- and Enterprise-only.
8.x Home (aka Core) has no Hyper-V

    • #40150

Sorry, I’m late to the party on this one. So, even though I have the home version, can I hide this update anyway?

    • #40151

Naw, no need to hide it. If you have the Home version, it should be fine.
