I installed June updates earlier today. One thing I noticed my RAM at idle seemed noticeably higher then usual. Checked Task Manager. Shell Infrastructure Host is now consuming much more RAM then prior. I have enough RAM to handle it but I thought it was enough of a difference to put it on the Forum.

AskWoody LoungerJune 30, 2022 at 5:31 pm #2457592Thank you for your questions.
Shell Infrastructure Host was taking 15% of Ram (consistently for 2 or 3 hours. I never saw it as top RAM user, but it was. Usually when idle top RAM is used by Windows Explorer or Antivirus or Malwarebytes or start up of a program. Shell Infrastructure Host is usually less than 1%.
Your excellent question about reboot was a good one. I rebooted and its back to under 1%. It has only been 20 minutes but if that changes I will post.
