Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |
I’ve been having some problems with IE hanging up on some pages. When I reboot or use the Task manager to kill IE and restart it, everything is fine.
I checked in the Tools/Internet Options/General/Settings/View Objects and there are two copies of Java Runtime Environment 1.31_01. Both have a status of damaged. I tried to update by using the update when I right click, but it doesn’t seem to change anything.
My question – could this be causing my hang up problems? If so, what do I do about it?
