      … and these are labeled as “critical updates”, right. (Japanese calendar? Does this thing crash if it sees one of those new dates without the update, or something?)

      Not seeing anything for C2R yet either.

        C2R updates seem to have become available now. However, I’m not yet seeing specifications on what’s in there…

        I’m not seeing any indication of “critical.” Seems like the usual crop of boring non-security bug fixes.

        What is C2R? It sounds like a distant cousin of R2D2 ….

          C2R = Click to Run.
          It is one way to get MS Office these days .

            @PKCano: you know that feeling when someone explains something and you realize: oh yes, of course … 🙂 Thank you!

      I have Office 2010 Pro 64-bit installed on my main Win8.1 machine. The four non-Security updates for Office 2010 are showing up in Windows Update as CHECKED in the “Important Updates” queue.

      I’m holding off installing them until I know they are safe.
      I have not checked my 32-bit installations yet.

        I have Office 2010 Home and Business 32-bit installed on my Win 7 Pro x64 machine. The four non-Security updates for Office 2010 are showing up in Windows Update as UnChecked in the “Important Updates” queue.

      Until tonight, I had the January, 2019 updates for Office 2010.  Now they’ve suddenly vanished.  32-bit Win 7 Pro SP1, Office 2010 Pro SP2, 4 GB RAM

        Same here- updates appeared Tues. Jan. 4 for 32 bit Office 2010 on Win7, today Jan. 5 they are gone.  Something hinky here.

        First thought was “unbelievable”.

        Second thought was, “no its not”.

      Well, the four updates has been pulled – Office 2010 Updates for January 2019 has been pulled – well, that Japanese calendar area is a complex thing, so Redmond needs more than 3 or 4 shots. Glad, they invests more human ressource to improve sticky notes in upcoming Win 10 19H1 build – that’s the real important thing 😉

          They will have one prime priority – maximize profit. All other priorities will be juggled with that in mind and a budget. That being business reality jugglers will drop the occasional ball.

        • #244508

          Certainly Win10, even preview has high priority vs Office 2010 🙂
