I have been using outlook.com as a secondary email and in the last several days messages that I have put in my “Saved Messages” folder that I created have not really been saved where I can see them. If I do a search for the sender, the messages pop-up with the Saved Messages label, but they aren’t in the folder for me to see. There are about 20 messages that I have previously saved in there, so the folder was functioning properly at one time. I have put the things I wanted to save as Archived which seems to be a much safer place(and in self defense). Is there a solution for the Saved Messages folder malfunction or perhaps a setting I missed somewhere? TIA

If you can view the folder but not all messages which should be in it, perhaps you have a Filter applied (e.g. “Unread” or “To me”) at top right of the message summary pane, so make sure “All” is selected there (while viewing that “Saved Messages” folder).
