Win 8.1 x64 desktop. Is there a reminder app. that will flash an appointment reminder on any screen (desktop would be fine) on the date that I choose whenever I switch my pc on and boot up? I have RemindMe and I thought that I could make it do something like that but frankly I just don’t see the point of it if I have to go to the Start menu every time. If I can remember to go to the Start menu then I would be able to remember appointments. Or am I missing something ? An audible warning is no use because I have a headset permanently plugged into the pc but I only use them if I am going to watch a video, YouTube, etc. and when the set is plugged into the pc there is obviously no external sound.
Surely it must be easy to program something that flashes something up on the desktop at the time and date that has been chosen ? Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.
