Is there a VOB to mp4 converter available

Wife resurrected a CD of our wedding but the file type is VOB and neither she nor I have a way player anything in that format. Is there a converter available – free or otherwise – that is reliable to download and use to bring to mp4?

VOB is the standard video file type on all common DVD’s.  I’m inclined to think that your CD with VOB file(s) should play on a standard DVD player.  I can play DVD’s and their VOB files on my Win 7 computer with no problem at all.  I think you can with Win 8 & 8.1 too but can’t say for sure since I don’t have either of those.

Another program is PowerDVD by Cyberview that I’ve installed on a few older computers with good results and you can even take screen shots.  If the fact that your VOB’s are on a CD is the problem, maybe try copying them to a DVD.
