My Windows Update is telling me there is a new update available

The 2007 Microsoft Office Suite Service Pack 3 (SP3)
    Download size: 275.1 MB
You may need to restart your computer for this update to take effect.
    Update type: Important
Service Pack 3 provides the latest updates to the 2007 Microsoft Office Suite. This update also applies to Microsoft Office Project, Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer, Microsoft Office Visio, and Visual Web Developer.

Is this OK to download, or should I wait?

It is pretty recent, so I haven’t seem much feedback about it. I have read a single report from a user who had no issues. If you’re usually cautious, you may want to give it a few days to see how it goes.

From what I could read, most fixes included here have been released before, but there may be a few that are new.

I confess I usually backup (new image) and install most SPs immediately.

I’ve installed it on a three PCs without a problem. None of the PCs had the full Office suite.

I installed it also on 3 PC with various 2007 office programs, no problems encountered. I have found that for 99 percent of Windows users, MS updates are reliable

Thanks for the feedback. I figured it was new, since I hadn’t noticed the notification before. Just wanted to chek first, before I take the plunge.
