Today, I looked at the Master Patch List (both Excel & PDF) and both were last updated on 4/14/20 even though the text says 4/20/20.

Did you post the wrong Patch List Files?

Where it this in the newletter alerts? I see the dates on articles up through only May 3.

Do you have a Master Patch List for Servers or know of a site that offers them similar to your Windows 10 Master Patch List?

      Thanks in advance!

Remember servers share the same code as Windows 10.  I’ll make sure I make that clear in the next patch watch.

I reached the end of my 3 weeks pause on May updates so decided to install update KB4549951 on my HP Home Edition Win10 1909.  Installed with no issues. Still pending is Optional CU KB4550954 which I will not install at this time.

Has there been a better fix for the KB4549951 problem?  I have not had the file deletion or the BSOD problems that some of the others have had.  My problem is not as bad.  When I fire up my system in the morning, my desktop icons are all blank.  So after it boots up, I have to restart it.  Then it runs normally.  I tried putting it to sleep instead of shutting it down, but sometimes it does it anyway.  I just did a clean installation a few weeks ago, so I don’t want to go through that again!  I understand there is supposed to be a fix, but that the fix has it’s own problems.  I have postponed any further updates for a month.  I was thinking maybe to go back to the insider updates, but not sure how stable they are.  I was on the slow updates before and they were OK.  Any suggestions? Just keep rebooting after each startup

KB4549951, released on 4/14/2020, has not changed.
The problem you are having has not been reported here.

KB4550945 was been released for v1903/1909 on 4/21. The linked MS pages on the update show what fixes have been made to the non-security CU.

One Dell desktop and one Dell laptop both backed up, cloned and updated with KB4549951 this afternoon. So far, so good.
