Recently, my mouse has become a very recalcitrant rodent. The pointer moves as directed but he drag and click behaviours have become a problem. I now have difficulty highlighting a text string and single-clicking a file or icon opens them rather than selecting them. It’s as if the single click is behaving as a double click. At first I suspected that their were some nasties working in the background but the checks I have made reveal nothing. I have also downloaded the latest drivers with no joy. I have also used TweakUI to adjust some settings but again to no good effect.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
