Malwarebytes has been popping up notifications all morning, starting at 07:30, that it blocked svchost from accessing website 239.255.255.250, using ports from 49xxx to 64xxx and various ports in between. 98 times in the past hour. Anybody know what’s happening here?

Two fixes were issued this morning. The first one fixed V2 the other they needed two tries to fix V3. It was a false positive.

Are you saying that Malwarebytes issued the fixes? Do you have a link?

Yes, it turned out to be a MWB bug. They pushed an update to fix and it seems to be working.

For reference, here are the database versions that fix this:

• Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2.x Version: v2017.03.02.09
• Malwarebytes 3 Version: 1.0.1404
