iOS 16.7.3 vs 17.2

I have an iPhone SE (2nd edition) which is presently on iOS 16.7.2. The “Apple security updates and Rapid Security Responses” table posted on 12/11/23 shows iOS 16.7.3 applies to “iPhone 8 and later”. I believe this includes my iPhone, so why does it now only offer me iOS 17.2?  In the past, I was offered both 16.7.x and 17. Right now, I would prefer to update to iOS 16.7.3. Is there any way to do this?

See if there is a way to decline the 17.2 and then the 16.7.3 will be offered.

If someone knows a way to decline the higher upgrade, I’d be interested to hear it. I’ve only seen the ability to ignore or install.

Apple doesn’t offer iOS 16.7.3 to SE 2 (2020)

Thanks for the IPSW table. But I am curious. Do you have an idea why the unsigned IPSWs list doesn’t include iOS 16.7.x? My last two updates were iOS 16.7.1 & 16.7.2 (presently on my phone) where I was offered iOS 16.7.x as the primary updates and iOS 17 as alternative updates.

16.7.x is still signed for the compatible devices
