Invalid Procedure Call (Access 97)

Hi Everyone,

Left([MyFieldName], instr([MyFieldName], “.”)-1) worked up until today. The database is located on one machine. The references were checked, removed, and readded. The Linked Table menu does not show any missing links. It also generates the error “invalid procedure call” in a month old backup.

Does anyone have any ideas on what is causing this and how to correct it.

I would create a new db, and import all objects from the old into the new.
Unless you have got security setup it only takes a minute.
