    Hi,

I’m running into a “Not a valid bookmark” error (3159) while trying to run a report. From the help, bookmarks seem to relate to the identification of each record. I’m not sure how to troubleshoot that–I couldn’t find a bookmark property in the report or query. Does anyone have any idea what I should do?

    Thanks,
    Bob

This error usually indicates that there is some kind of corruption in your database. Try the following:
      – Compact and repair the database (Tools | Database Utilities)
      – If that doesn’t help, create a new blank database and import as many database objects from the problem database as possible. You will have to set the startup options in the new database, and non-standard VBA references if you have them.
      – If that doesn’t help either, going back to a recent non-corrupt backup version is your best bet.
