    Does anyone know why Microsoft pushed down the Intel Wireless AC 3165 update for W10 1709?

    We have Exclude WUdrivers From Qality Updates enabled. I am wondering why this update is being pushed. What is it fixing?

      On  May 18, there was an update in Ubuntu and derivatives to linux-firmware.  It’s not really firmware in the literal sense, but binary blobs of proprietary code that work within the open-source drivers.  The description read:

      “Intel WiFi Linux driver update for ETSI 5GHz Adaptivity Requirement.”  It was said to apply to the Intel 3160, 3168, and 7265, which is a group of wifi cards very close to the 3165.  I would guess that the Windows 10 update for the 3165 might be related to that.
