AskWoody PlusFebruary 21, 2018 at 9:20 am #169234I can’t speak about Microsoft’s latest screwup, but here’s the updated Microcode Revision Guidance PDF from Intel. It has all Intel products & their current status. I have an Ivy Bridge (Pentium Mobile Processor) chip that has moved to Beta.

Bought a refurbished Windows 10 64-bit, currently updated to 22H2. Have broke the AC adapter cord going to the 8.1 machine, but before that, coaxed it into charging. Need to buy new adapter if wish to continue using it.

GuestFebruary 21, 2018 at 7:58 pm #169338Well since I just playfully posted on tree branches elsewhere, I might as well do this one too. Feigns or feints would be a stylistic choice of minor grammatical impact, both have French origins with feint being the newer form only 250yrs old.
You may be thinking of faint, an activity frequently seen when returning to a Windows installation that has been left idle for more than one-half hour. Long enough for pending tasks to launch a surprise. Loss of consciousness that occurs when all the blood leaves your brain.
