If Broadcom buys the chip design division of Intel, it’s over. AMD will officially become the new dominant PC CPU manufacturer.

Broadcom kills everything they acquire. Most recently, VMware.

Intel was done some time ago. Started when Apple dropped them for Mac’s. Unfortunate that Intel seemingly went down a path that was supposed to be their savior and has not proven to be that and then came the defects and they handled that badly.
