I’m not sure, but the footnotes on that Intel page suggest most features will only work with Intel Arc CPU and GPU products.  See the YouTube video posted yesterday at Intel Graphics Software – First Look (Arc Control Panel Replacement Launching With Battlemage).

Where did you originally read about this software?

I agree it’s confusing, but I don’t think that’s correct. The Arc footnote only refers to some performance tuning features.

I acquired this app automatically yesterday when I installed an updated driver for Intel Iris XE and all presented features appear functional.

Are the minimum system requirements for the Intel Graphics Software (IGS) posted somewhere?

I have an 8th gen CPU, the Intel Driver & Support Assistant currently recommends driver v31.0.101.2130 (rel. 03-Sep-2024) for my Intel UHD Graphics 620, and the v31.0.101.2130 release notes <here> don’t mention the IGS. I’m guessing my system isn’t compatible since my 8th gen GPU is in legacy support (see the July 2022 announcement Graphics Driver Support Update for 10th Generation and Older Intel Processor Graphics) and only receives graphics driver updates for security vulnerabilities.

Not just ARC. The new app replaces Intel driver & Support Assistant for newer GPUs.

Correct. IGS support 13th, 14th and the 200 ultra.. CPUs
