Running Mint Mate 19.2.  Trying to install a program that downloads in AppImage format- a first for me.  Here’s the entry in Downloads:

The tutorial I have advises this command:

As you can see, it failed.  I ran the command twice, with “Downloads” capitalized and then not.  Also tried with no capitals anywhere in the command.  The guide shows the syntax and capitalization exactly as typed.  What am I missing here?

CD to the directory where the AppImage is stored.
Check that you set the app to executable. ls -l. If not CHMOD it.
      Run the app. ./MuseScore-3.4.2-x86_64.AppImage

      cheers, Paul

Thanks- your command opened the program- my intent was to install it.  I used your syntax and added <install> after it, mission accomplished.  I don’t understand why my previous attempt failed, but I’m not going to ponder it.
