Is it just Windows 7 or are all versions of Windows at risk?

Okay-I don’t get it. Are you saying to get rid of AdobeReader? (How?) And get Foxit pdf? What is that, where/how do we get that? Is it compatible with Firefox? Remember this is not a techie asking, just a lost soul on the tech highway! Thanks for the input. Mel

Woody, as you know, I am a Nitro PDF Reader user most of the time. But I do have Adobe Reader on my Windows 7 laptop (haven’t taken the time to remove it yet). So this is one to watch. Good to know it is specific to Adobe Reader this time, and not a worry to users of the alternatives.

      @ Mel S —
Adobe Reader is just a program, so it can be removed in the usual ways. The alternatives integrate well with most major browsers, so folks who want to switch will have only minimal hassles. Nitro and Foxit are very friendly with Firefox (and Chrome).
