I am trying to insert a non-breaking hyphen into a cell, and all I get is a square box. What is wrong? What I am trying to do is force some text to wrap in a cell where I want it to wrap. I am putting some dimensions such as 9′-4″ x 10′-0″ in a cell. Excel is taking the -0″ to the next line but not the 10′. Is there anyway to correct this?

Excel is not a WYSISYG word processor, so I don’t think it is going to pay any attention to the non-breaking hypen. To control where the line break occurs, place the cursor in the string where you want the line break. Then press Alt+Enter.
