When I want to attach a file to a message I often want to be certain that the file I’m inserting is the latest version. I do this by selecting the “details” view from the “Insert File” menu option. Up until recently this has given me the standard listing of all files in the folder with name, size, type and date modified. I can click on the “modified” header to sort by date and see the latest files at the top.

Recently I must have done something because now in this view I get subheaders with “most recent”, “yesterday”, “2-days ago”, etc.

How do I undo this method of presenting the data and go back to the traditional view?

Right-click an empty part of the Insert File dialog.
Select “Arrange Icons By” from the popup menu, and click “Show in Groups” to remove the check box from this item.
