    Hi

Using HTML, is it possible to include text from file B in file A, so that file A automatically reflects changes to file B?

Can’t remember what the menu structure was in FP 97, but in 2003 (with the page in design mode), Insert>Web Component>Included Content. FP Help should give you some more information on exactly how to set this up.

I was hoping to do it using HTML, without using a FrontPage component. (I’m using FrontPage as an editor, but the site’s not being published as a FrontPage website.)

        Can do?

If you want the server to merge the content into the page, you need to use a server-side technology. If not FrontPage server extensions, then SSI (server side includes) or ASP or PHP, etc. If you want the browser to pull the content and insert it into the page, you can use an or client-side scripting.

There’s a sort-of-related thread on the web design board, I think the subject line might relate to Google ads.

Would this article help ? This Google search finds a number of useful references.

Thanks to you both. I wasn’t aware of IFRAME, and will use that.

You can use BBCodes to format your content.
Your account can't use all available BBCodes, they will be stripped before saving.
