Although I didn’t agree with a lot of her decisions, she certainly earned my respect.

      God rest her soul.

Ruth Ginsburg, US Supreme Court Judge, has died. It is sad news for the nation to have lost, in these uncertain times, such an upstanding and outstanding servant of the people and untiring defender of their rights under the US Constitution.

I do believe the lady earned the respect of being referred to by her full chosen name, which to me was part of her ethos of equality, to include her maiden name and her husband’s surname in how she portrayed herself. It seems right to continue to use it upon her death.

I realized that I had left her maiden name out after the window for editing my comment had closed.

I would like to point out that there are issues at stake here that can influence the future of this country for years to come. She was a great American; great and inspiring is her legacy. Vale RBG.

I closed the topic because it was veering political.

RBG has long been one of my guiding lights.
