Id like to propose one thing, that would be benefit for everyone.

I noticed, that its hard to find new improvements in every Windows 10 version that comes out. I propose, that every change is marked with some small indicator (exclamation mark for example), until user clicks it for the first time. Its implemented into games, why not to implement it into OS?

This is example of World Of Tanks. Look at the picture. I circled parts of the menu, where changes were made. Until user enters that menu for the first time, the “change sign” remains there.

    new-features

Who would appreciate such improvement in Windows 10? Please comment.

After first boot of new Windows OS version or monthly Tuesday patch, Microsoft should present ‘What’s new, What’s fixed’ page notification (which can be disabled in settings).
It can be an internal page or external web page.

Microsoft should also explicitly display in Windows Update page the reasons for OS version update blocks for that particular PC, and ways to fix it.

Microsoft just tested showing what’s new on the boot after the new version is installed. This was a one time test for an Insider build. This may make its way to the real world at some point. As ususal, Microsoft is not committing to this. Here’s a quote from the build 20197 release notes:

“The new post update experience with the Tips app mentioned with Build 20190 was a trial run for this experience to get feedback and gauge interest and specific only to Build 20190. You will not see this experience on newer builds. Insiders may see other experiences like this one on newer builds coming soon.”
