    Hi,

I got “The search key was not found in any record” when attempting to import a text file. I have some specs set up when it comes to delimiting the file. The error message didn’t pops up until I clicked “Finish” button. This is a critical issue. I cannot continue the work I need to do because of this error!!

    Please help.

    Thanks in advance.

Make sure that contents of the text file are valid. The error message that you mention will occur if there are two columns with the same name, for example.

        Thanks, Hans.

But there’s no column name in my txt file. I don’t think there’s any duplicate fields name in the Import sepc since the Access will stop you if you have any duplicate fields.

The contents of the text file should be valid since I can import it with default delimite.

        Any other ideas?

        Thanks,
