Is there a way to import MS Word fields into Access or Excel? I have multiple MS Word documents that each have multiple fields that I need to import into either Access or Excel for report genearation. Any ideas?

Did anyone ever locate a solution to this question? I can’t seem to find one in the archives, and I’ve got a similar situation, only my Word documents to import are not in fields, but rather seperated by double hard returns, each section needs to have its own record in Access.

I’ve had to import Word documents before but usually from tables in Word. The technique usually involved using the find and replace feature of Word to place some delimiting character between fields and records. Then saving the doc as text and importing into Excel or Access. You might be able to use a similar technique if your docs have a repeating structure of some kind.
