I’m posting here as a plain-vanilla Lounger. Let’s see what happens.

[The post required moderation, as it was the first post from a clean account. Looks like everything is working as intended for this account.]

And now I can post as anonymous. I think it’s been fixed….

For what it’s worth–for awhile there was no *Reply Box* showing when not logged in.  Now there is a *Reply Box* and I’m testing to see if I can post a reply anonymously.

      Earlier this morning:

If logged in, I would get:

You cannot reply to this topic.

      You cannot create new topics.

If logged out, I would get:

You must be logged in to reply to this topic.

Whether logged in or not–no *Reply Box* was showing on any AskWoody webpage I’ve visited. Still do not see a *Reply Box* when logged in.

And FYI, for the last couple days, access times have been very slow here in the Northwest corner of the country–much slower than prior averages.

      NightOwl posting anonymously.

Either you “flipped my bit” after replying to my email or this is just “one of those times” you mentioned Woody but I can now Reply.

At least I think I can anyhow? We’ll see how successful it is after I click the Submit button 🙂

Assuming this goes through, it appears things are back to normal. Thanks.

Memo to DaBoss… that’s what you get for doing Customer Service all by your lonesome!

Bought a refurbished Windows 10 64-bit, currently updated to 22H2. Have broke the AC adapter cord going to the 8.1 machine, but before that, coaxed it into charging. Need to buy new adapter if wish to continue using it.

@Woody:   I only hope and pray that I will be able to find where “everything was changed” so I can get started while I have some strength remaining.  Thank you again for  all of the wonderful work you and the “other technical expert members” do for all of us who are so not gifted.

My problem where I couldn’t create a new topic when signed in seems to be fixed now, Yipee!

      Why would we delete it?
