A simple question as part of my ‘learning’ … what is the ‘click’ sound coming out of a pc (HP laptop in my case) when you click for new web pages? Surely its not what it sounds like … a mechanical relay? Its annoying so is there a way of silencing it?

Check your settings under “Sounds”. You may have a “windows sound” set to play when you switch pages.

The event you want to look at is the “Start Navigation” event under the Windows Explorer section of the Program Events

Thanks for that … thought it could not be a simple relay but sure sounds like one!

It is sooo much better without the click, click, click of the ‘relay’ as one surfs the internet.
