• IE options shortcut (WinXP SP1)

    I used to have a shortcut on the desktop to go directly to the IE options screen. Somehow I lost it and for the life of me I can’t find or think of where the options command line or file was to get to it.

    Any ideas? stupidme

      Bob, create a new shortcut with this as the shortcut’s path:

      %systemroot%system32inetcpl.cpl

      That should do what you’re looking for.

      Of course, if you already have the Internet Explorer Icon on the desktop, right mouse click and choose Properties does the same!
