    IE mail links open Outlook Express rather than Outlook 2003. Just curious if there is something to configure by way of a simple check box that might resolve this. Apparently Outlook was the default but something has been reset.

      Is Outlook your default mail program, in the Programs tab of Tools | Internet Options (in IE)?

        I am waiting permission to remote in and investigate. I earlier sent a screen shot to them and asked them to confirm all of that but what was a crisis 45 minutes ago seems to have been replaced in the priority list by lunch.

      Checked “Set Program Access and Defaults” under Add/Remove Programs where under “Custom”, “Choose a custom e-mail program” was set to Outlook Express.
