Can I manage multiple identities in Outlook 2000 the same way as I do in Outlook Express 6?

If you use Corporate Workgroup (CW) mode you can set up profiles (which are Outlooks version of Identities). I found that if you have multiple users on the machine, each user has a unique set of profiles. That is, a profile only appears for the logon (machine user) that created it. So you can have one logon with multiple profiles, a bunch of logons each with their own profile, and so on. Like OE, address books, message stores, calendar, etc., are separate for each profile.

Most people with POP3 email use Internet Mail Only (IMO) mode. However, CW mode is fine for POP3 because it doesn’t require an Exchange Server. In CW mode you can add an Internet E-Mail account under Services to connect to a POP3 or IMAP server. We’ve got a machine running this way at home for my wife’s business so we can continue using the old MS Fax program that was almost integrated with Outlook.

You can use BBCodes to format your content.
Your account can't use all available BBCodes, they will be stripped before saving.
